We sell refreshments on-site at Roots allotment - Meadow hill, using donated harvests and surplus food we receive.
By turning these ingredients into delicious recipes, we’re not only reducing food waste but also creating a sustainable income stream for our soup kitchen, helping us fund even more amazing community projects.

Blueberry muffins
Blueberry muffins - wheat flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), sugar, EGG, rapeseed oil, water, 7% blueberry’s, 7% sweetened dried blueberries (blueberries, sugar, sunflower oil), humectant: Glycerol; dried whey MILK), modified maize starch,raising agents. Potassium carbonates, diphosphates : preservatives: potassium sorbate; natural blueberry flavouring emulsifier: SOYA Lecithims; salt.
Tripple chocolate muffins
sugar, wheat flour (WHEAT flour, calcium, folic acid, iron, niacin, thiamin), rapeseed oil, EGG, water, 5% milk chocolate (sugar,dried whole MILK, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier: SOYA lecithin; natural vanilla flavouring), 2% dark chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, emulsifier: SOYA lecithins, natural vanilla flavouring), humectant: glycerol; fat reduced cocoa powder , modified maize starch, dried whey (MILK), raising agents: potassium carbonates, diphosphates preservative: potassium sorbate, natural vanilla flavouring, salt. Mincepies
Mince Meat (32% vine fruits(sultanas, currants, raisins), apple, sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, vegetable suet (palm oil, rice flour, sunflower oil), candied mixed citrus peel ( orange peel, glucose-fructose syrup, lemon peel, sugar), mixed spices preservative: active acid, colour: plain caramel.)
Shortcrust pastry (Wheat flour, palm fat, water, rapeseed oil, dextrose, ethanol, salt, acidity regulator (citric acid), elmulsifiers ( mono and diglycerides of fatty acids), sunflower lecithins.
Cookies

Iced Tea instant
Lemon instant tea: sugar, dextrose, acid: citric acid, 1.3% black tea extract, 0.1% lemon powder (maltodextrin, concentrated lemon juice), natural flavouring,
Peach instant tea: sugar, dextrose, acid: citric acid, 1.3% black tea extract, natural flavouring, 0.2% peach powder ( maltodextrin, peach pulp).
Instant hot chocolate
Whey powder (milk), sugar, 15% reduced cocoa powder, glucose syrup, coconut oil, flavouring stabilisers (potassium phosphates, polyphosphates), milk protein, thickener (cellulose gum), emulsifier (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), salt, anti-caking agent, (silicon dioxide).
